Main Themes

Under the topic of high touch, holistic education, this committee was charged with developing goals, objectives, and strategies. The main themes to be considered were:

  • Advising and Mentoring
  • Academic Support and Enrichment
  • Innovative Curricular and Co-curricular Models

 

Objectives

Objectives for the final recommendations include:

  • Improve graduate student success
  • Setting priorities for efforts on transforming graduate education
  • Provides priorities for funding through PEGS, unified NSF IGE grant, leveraging with undergrad TTL, and Institute funding opportunities
  • Ability to align vision vertically across programs, colleges, and Institute and develop collaborations
